Required Documents for Undergraduate Application

A separate application fee is required for each program applied. Please make sure that you fulfill all requirements for the department you are applying to and that the department has a quota before paying the application fee(s).

The application fee must be paid in person or by bank wire. The university does not accept credit cards or payments by PayPal. The application fee is non-refundable.

Standardized Test Score
The candidates for the Engineering programs must have a minimum score of 740 out of 800 in the “Math” test and a total score of 1450 out of 1600 in the “Math” and “Evidence-Based Reading and Writing” tests of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The candidates for the other programs must have a minimum score of 680 out of 800 in the “Math” test and a total score of 1400 out of 1600 in the “Math” and “Evidence-Based Reading and Writing” tests of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

The medium of instruction at Boğaziçi University is English. All applicants must submit documentation proving proficiency in English. The Boğaziçi University Senate recognizes the results from a number of standardized tests for this purpose:
